Coolum District Coast Care Group is a not for profit association. We undertake practical projects to help protect the coastal environment, the flora and fauna, and to maintain the biodiversity of this beautiful and unique part of our world.
Our members work on weeding and revegetation projects in the dunal areas of Coolum Beach, Yaroomba and Mudjimba and Marcoola. We monitor the marine turtles that live and nest along this stretch of the Sunshine Coast. We provide opportunities for members of the public, local businesses, and students to learn about the natural assets that exist in the region, and how we can all contribute to their protection. We advocate to the public and government on local, national, and global issues that affect our natural world.
And we try to have fun along the way too!
