Yaroomba Beach Development Application - pro forma submission

We have put together a suggested outline for submissions relating to the Yaroomba Beach development by Sekisui House at Yaroomba.

Note that submissions must be received by Sunshine Coast Council by 16 January 2018. Please note the new submission end date - all submissions must be signed and dated from 17 November 2017 onwards - if you sent in your submission prior to 17 November 2017, you will need to resubmit your submission.

How to make an Development Approval Submission

1. Go to the Sunshine Coast Council online form where you can attach the submission letter you write. Alternatively, you can post a paper copy to Locked Bag 72, Sunshine Coast Mail Centre, QLD 4560 or bring it into the Nursery and we will post it for you!
2. Download the Pro-Forma that Coast Care has prepared for your letter and add your own reasons and words in the headings provided. Make sure you add your details to the form to ensure it is a ‘proper submission’.
3. Personalising your submission is important. Please read through the submission. If you have time, please change the wording to make it your own personal submission – this will give your submission more weight.
4. If you aren’t skilled at writing, are short on time, or would like some further help with content, don't fret. You can download Development Watch’s great Writing Toolkit to cut and paste what you feel are good objections into the headers of the Details section of your submission. Simply click on a header to open the webpage text, find what most resonates with you, and copy & paste it into your submission.

Make sure you don't forget to add your personal details onto the form (highlighted in green) to make your submission 'proper'.
