The Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland and the Richmond Birdwing Conservation Network are currently working on a project to map infestations of the declared Dutchmans Pipe vine Aristolochia elegans. If you can help them locate occurrences of the vine in Southeast Queensland please see the attached information.
Join with Kabi Kabi Traditional Owner Bridgette Davis and Torrie Curry from the Bunya Bunya Country Aboriginal Corporation to celebrate Queensland Womens Week with two workshops about Aboriginal cultural heritage including Traditional and historical story places.
The first workshop will be held at Stumers Creek Park, just north of Coolum Beach CBD via David Low Way and Stumers Creek Road, on Friday 11 March. The second will be held at Power Memorial Park Mudjimba Esplanade on Sunday 13 March (next to the Mudjimba Surf Life Saving Club). Both will run from 10.30am until 12 noon. Free refreshments including bush tucker will be provided. All welcome. BYO hat and chair.
